We're celebrating designated drivers this holiday season
We’ve partnered with our name-sake sponsor Motorpoint this festive season to promote safe driving habits and shine a light on the importance of designated drivers.
As part of the partnership, we have launched a brand-new competition where eventgoers can win the chance to gain exclusive access to our brand-new VIP lounge, The Green Room, where each group’s designated driver will be rewarded with a complimentary bottle of Motorpoint’s charity beer – Estrella Galicia 0.0% alcohol-free.
Anyone with tickets to upcoming shows Fontaines DC, Jason Manford, Ricky Gervais, Pete Tong, Paul Heaton or Culture Club can enter by letting us know what show they’ll be attending and who their designated drivers is here.
For anyone without tickets, Motorpoint is offering fans the chance to win a pair of tickets to a number of pre-Christmas events by submitting their details through the same link. Winners will also gain access to the new VIP lounge for the ultimate pre-show experience!

As part of Motorpoint’s ongoing partnership with road safety charity Brake, it has committed to donating 50p from every pint of 0% lager sold at the venue to the charity. It’s hoped that this campaign will help raise awareness of the brilliant alcohol-free options at the arena and encourage motorists to think twice about driving home after having a drink.
Martin Ingham, CEO, Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, added: “We’re really excited to be working with Motorpoint on this activity, with a huge proportion of eventgoers opting to drive to the arena, we think it’s really important to have great alcohol-free options and celebrate motorist making responsible choices.”

Terms & Conditions
- Winners are selected at random from all eligible entries received by the closing date. Entries received after the closing date will not be entered into the prize draw. The selection is final, and the winner will be contacted by email two days prior to each of the following events: Fontaines, Jason Manford, Ricky Gervais, Pete Tong, Paul Heaton, Culture Club. If the winner is given the chance to select a show, please be aware that some shows or events may be sold out and tickets will not be available.
- The prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
- The prize is awarded conditionally upon acceptance and if a winner is unable to be contacted after a reasonable period or if any prize is unclaimed or declined within a reasonable period, the prize shall be deemed as unclaimed or unaccepted and a supplementary winner may be drawn at Nottingham Ice Centre’s discretion.
- Only one entry per person allowed and all entrants must be aged 18 years and over. Entries not complying with the terms and conditions will be invalid and all employees of Nottingham Ice Centre Limited, their families, agents or anyone else connected with a promotion are excluded from entering the prize draw.
